Membership

We're not a guide service and we're not weekend warriors. Midweek Bass is for anglers who can fish on a Wednesday and want serious, fairly run tournaments with a draw format.

Why members stick around

Some have been here since the Carter administration.

11 tournaments a year

Rotating across Arizona's top bass lakes — Roosevelt, Pleasant, Apache, Saguaro, Canyon, Martinez, Parker, Alamo — with consistent rules and payouts.

Computerized draw

Boaters and Co-Anglers paired by random computer draw before each event. No politics, no favoritism. Show up and fish.

AOY race

Cash, trophy, and bragging rights for the season-long points winner. Year-to-date standings posted in May.

Co-Anglers welcome

Don't own a boat? Many of our members don't either. Co-Anglers pair with Boaters via the draw and pay a lake-specific Fair Share Fee.

Real community

Monthly meetings, club cookouts at Apache (March and November Tuesdays), and decades of anglers who'll show you a new lake.

Fair rules, fairly enforced

Live wells checked, fish weighed alive, penalties called consistently. Five-fish limit, 13-inch minimum, dead-fish penalties posted.

What it costs

Two payment paths — online or at a monthly meeting / by mail. Online is slightly higher to cover processing.

Apply for Membership

Applications and the liability waiver can be submitted online ($43) or printed and brought to a monthly meeting / mailed in ($40).

After you submit, the Treasurer (Doug Moore) will reach out with payment instructions and the liability waiver if you didn't submit online.

Liability waiver

All members must submit a signed liability waiver with their application before they can fish a tournament. Online applications include the waiver automatically. If you apply by mail, download and print the waiver from the Member Portal, sign it, and mail it with your dues.

Code of Conduct

Membership is a privilege. We've kept this club running for forty-six years because every member, on every Wednesday, holds up the same end of the deal.

On the water

  • Fish clean, weigh fish alive, and follow the rule book without argument.
  • Respect other anglers' water, ramps, and right-of-way.
  • If you see a problem — safety, ethics, or rules — raise it with the Tournament Director (Kirk Krogman), not on the dock.

At the ramp and in meetings

  • Be on time. Be ready. Don't make others wait.
  • Keep disagreements respectful. Decisions of the Tournament Director are final on the day.

Off the water

  • Represent the club well at host marinas, gas stations, and the lakes that let us run events.
  • Pay your entry fees and dues on time. The Treasurer is a volunteer.
  • Help new members. You were one once.
